Saygent Fine Calculator
On the 16th day of June 2012, a group of hackers banded together and somehow cracked the Saygent TOS. Those who survived the epic journey discovered a chink in the armor of our interface.
Apparently it is not abundantly clear to web goers everywhere that hyperlinking to saygent.com is punishable by a $100k fine. Therefore, we've decided to build this handy fine calculator to help educate those unaware. Simply type in a hyperlink you plan on adding to one of your HTML documents and we will tell you the sum of all associated Saygent fines.
The Fine Print
Saygent is a startup, and in the spirit of scrappiness we outsourced our TOS document to Fiverr which is a service we love using and will continue to use. However, sometimes moving fast comes at a cost. In this case an insanely absurd clause slipped through and infected our terms of service. We certainly do not plan on pursuing legal action against anyone gracious enough to link to any of our documents. The TOS clause in question has been permanently removed.
